Degenerative Physical Disabilities Peer Chat
July 28 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm MDT

Connect with peers who have degenerative spinal cord injuries and
other degenerative physical disabilities. This peer support group is open
to people with worsening non-traumatic spinal cord injuries and spinal
degeneration (e.g., related to a previous spinal injury, cancer, genetic
conditions, hypermobility, neurodegenerative conditions like MS and
neuromuscular conditions like muscular dystrophy).
Find peer support with adapting to ongoing loss and changing abilities, where goals may be more about maintaining function or slowing progression than returning to pre-injury/disability self. This allows for a space to discuss matters related to living with progressive and/or fluctuating mobility impairments, and to connect with peers who face similar challenges.
Monday July 28 at 4pm-6pm (in person or virtual)
Joining the peer chat:
-In-person at SCI Alberta Edmonton Office(400-11010 101 Street)
