Availability: Participants with Spinal Cord Injuries
RMA is running a Try-It Camp in Edmonton on July 14 & 15 at Rundle Park! Come try out hiking, biking and paddling, with a chance to learn more about rehabilitation of Spinal Cord Injuries through mountain sport and recreation.
AVAILABLE TO
Individuals with a Spinal Cord Injury who are interested in learning about adaptive outdoor recreation and the equipment RMA has available.
LOCATION
Rundle Park, Edmonton
WHAT TO WEAR
Comfortable clothing, bathing suit, towel, clothing that can get wet, and a hat. May vary depending on activity.
WHAT TO BRING
Bike helmet, water bottle, snacks (no nuts), and sunscreen. May vary depending on activity.
WHAT’S PROVIDED
Adaptive equipment such as a Bowhead Reach, Kayaks, and TrailRiders. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to assist with fitting of equipment and instruction for beginners.

This summer is proving to be an exciting one, as Rocky Mountain Adaptive is excited that thanks to a grant from the Craig H. Nielsen Foundation we will be expanding our program and launch several initiatives.
This grant has enabled us to plan some amazing opportunities. We will be hosting equipment demonstrations and try-it events!
