Become a Member

We encourage everyone with a spinal cord injury or related physical disability to become a member of SCI-AB. We also invite family members and anyone else who is connected to the SCI community to join.

SCI-AB’s voting membership is an annual fee of $25.00*.

In addition to voting privileges at SCI-AB’s annual general meeting your membership will allow you to:

  • help shape the future of SCI Alberta;
  • enable SCI Alberta to speak on behalf of Canadians with spinal cord injury and other physical disabilities with a more powerful, unified voice;
  • stay informed: be kept up to date on our programs, events and SCI news;
  • receive invitations to our events, such as peer events, barbecues, fundraising events;

We acknowledge that what we call Alberta is the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, presently subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. Namely: the Blackfoot Confederacy – Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika – the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney Nakoda, and the Tsuut’ina Nation and the Métis People of Alberta. This includes the Métis Settlements and the Six Regions of the Métis Nation of Alberta within the historical Northwest Metis Homeland.
