Community Access Coordinator

Chantel Mae Torio is one of our Community Access Coordinators for Southern Alberta. She completed her Diploma in Business Administration – Major in Management, at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 2024. Chantel was inspired to apply her skills in a role that supports individuals with disabilities. Her previous work experiences strengthened her passion for helping people achieve their goals, interest and live more meaningful, independent lives.

Through her work in CAPCC program, Chantel sees each day as an opportunity to create a positive and lasting impact, not only for the clients she supports, but also in building a more inclusive and empowered community. Chantel enjoys spending time with family and friends, love for traveling, where she finds joy and inspiration in discovering new places, cultures and experiences.

To empower persons with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to achieve Independence and full Community Participation.
